TOP 4 Ski Stations in Spain

The snow comes together with the start of the new year. It is time to put the skis on and prepare a trip to enjoy the typical winter sports. In the Spanish ski stations everything is up to date to enjoy this sports which are enjoyable for only a few months during the year. Here is a list of top tips to start planning some days in the snow the best way possible.

1. FORMIGAL (Huesca).

The largest ski domain in Spain with its 176 kilometers of tracks spanning six valleys. The group Aramón, who manages it, continues working on its transformation into the reference station for families. For now, this season has boosted activities on children's tracks in both sectors and in all snow gardens.

2. CERLER (Huesca)

The best station in Spain? Cataloged as the "Spain Best Ski Resort 2015" (Best Spanish Station 2015) for two consecutive seasons and in the list of the 24 best stations in the world. I confess that Aramón Cerler is also my favorite station. But its strong point is the track of the nine kilometres (and is called 9 km). The longest of the peninsula, the one on the upper level (located 2,630 meters, the mythical Gallinero) and reaches the quota of 1,500.

3. Baqueira Beret (Lleida):

The most exclusive: It is the preference of celebrities and members of royalty, artists ... once again, the station with the most expensive pass of the peninsula. Its appeal lies in the beauty of the slopes and the excellent facilities. In addition, this year Baqueira once again increases the kilometres of slopes with the extension in the mountain and its offer in the 156 km skiing deals in an extension of 2,166 hectares with Atlantic orientation, which guarantees the good quality of the snow. Among the new tracks, highlight the double hen and black, of extreme difficulty, with a final spade of strong slope.

4. SIERRA NEVADA (Granada).

The most fun In the Andalusian station has definitely bet on technology, innovation and the holding of sporting events. For example, between 7 and 19 March will be the host station of the Freestyle and Snowboard World Championships, which will be placed at this station at the international level.
