Located in the square with the same name of the market and very close to the Plaza Mayor, it stands out for maintaining its structure (with more than a century old!). Without abandoning his vocation as traditional market focused on daily shopping, it has bars in which to taste the products of the little food stands along with a drink. Gender quality, product variety and location has made it one of the most touristic points of Madrid tapas.

We highlight this market because of its particular street food market style. Located in Fuencarral has three floors with 18 food stands, three drink bars, numerous tables to sit and two partly covered terraces. Furthermore, it is a very lively market where numerous themed events, as showcookings, city food presentations, or events related to culture, fashion and art happen. On Wednesdays, the market emphasizes on solidarity where each week, from the hand of an association or NGO, becomes a place to raise awareness and funds.
